So, thanks for the birthday wishes! I would have called you back, but alas, my phone is still broken. Friday night was a success/shit show but quite fun! Made progress with the current boy, so we'll see how that goes. Right now I'm lying in bed with my window cracked open, but I think it's going to be closed soon because I live in the ghetto and my skanky neighbors are outside being loud at midnight on a Sunday. Not cool.

So I know you're all jealous of me and the state I live in, but I would like to inform you few that it is April 17, 2006 - the middle of spring - and it has been snowing all day. Yes, snow. And we're not talking flurries, we're talking big, fat snowflakes that obscure vision on the horizon. AND it's supposed to be 70 on Thursday. Hah.

So I took the quiz, and I knew what the answer would be before I even ended. I'm so on the line about everything!
In other news, I will be coming in the Seattle direction the weekend of April 28th. I am supposedly officially graduating on May 13th at 9:30 a.m. I would love for my friends to come visit me. I miss having Damon around. Oh, and we're talking again. Just talking as in I will call him and he might call me back a few days later. We did make up though - he apologized and I'm not one to hold a grudge. Um, I just got back from Texas/Billings. It was nice and warm for two days and I got a lil tan, but then it rained. RAINED as in flash floods. It was so bad when we left on Tuesday, it was insane! Almost 3 inches of rain in one day! They had to close down some of the streets downtown, main arterials. Craziness.
Nothing else is really going on ... I start my new job tomorrow. I'm working at the Press Box, a restaurant/bar right by school. I'm officially a hostess, but it's just a lower waitress, so we'll see how it goes. I'm excited cuz a lot of people I know work there and come in there, so that'll be nice. It's every day M-F from 11:30-1:30 p.m. Sweet ... mooooola.
Oh my birthday is Dean Stone night, the journalism school's big scholarship night, so the Kaimin and I have decided it's my unofficial birthday party. It kind of works out since a lot of my friends are going to be out of town for that weekend. :( Boo. So I'll get drunk with my closest j-school friends and call it a party. Plus I get to get all dressed up!

So I'm back in Montucky. Joy. I have no motivation to do anything, whatsoever. Which is why I'm updating instead of continuing my studying for a test I will most likely fail.
Week in Seattle was good, relaxing, etc. Spent way to much money, which is odd since I really didn't do much. Hmm. Funny how that works out. Eating, one shopping trip and TWO tickets later. Yah. But I'm officially broke for the month of February AND March. Sweeeeeet. Mac 'n Cheese here I come.
Oh, and I'm not coming back the weekend of March 10th anymore. *sniff* I know. I have to take the Writing Proficiency Exam, and it's being offered March 10th. Kind of not going to work - can't be in two places at once. I do have to wander over though sometime to meet my editors at the paper in Wenatchee, so no fear, I will return. Yessss.
Oh, I've determined that I hate life. Yes, yes it's true. I'm quitting. That and school, so I can work and pay off stupid bills. I hate bills. How on earth am I going to live after I graduate? Oh wait, that's right, I'm quitting. Stress sucks ASS, especially since I really have not a lot of reasons to be doing so. Wierd. Oh that's right, I'm QUITTING.

So, like Sonia, I was noticing I haven't updated in a mucho long time, so here goes:
The semester is only two weeks underway, and I'm already sick of it. I'm ready to be done. DONE. I've already skipped three classes, and am very likely to skip a fourth this week so I can go to Deer Lodge with Damon to pick up his dog. Oh yes, pick up my now EX-boyfriend's dog. Yeah, you heard me right. Ex-boyfriend. That would be how my week is going. But wait, it's not over. I broke a mirror. I have to work on Wednesdays and Thursdays, which are 1) the best nights to go out and 2) a night before I have class in the morning. Well, Wednesdays are the only night before I have a class in the morning. But still. I don't enjoy. This all contributes to my lack of motivation for school. And what is really sad is that my classes are actually interesting.
Damon and I broke up on Monday. All I will say is that he needs to learn how to balance work and me. Yet, I have spoken to (and seen) him more this week than I did in the last three week of our relationship. Plus, he now has an insatiable need to call me. Interesting. And was quite upset when I got married at the Forester's Ball last night. That led to me staying over. So much for just being friends. Fuck me. (Excuse my french). I never did get divorced, so technically I cheated on my husband. Haha.
Even though spring semester always goes by more quickly, I wish it would hurry up and be April. Not because of my birthday (although that would be really, really nice), but because it would be past Spring Break, past midterms but before the rush of Finals and graduation - and before I have to move to Wenatchee. All in all, the perfect month. Good stuff right there.
I think I want to live in a small town, or in Montana. I love it. I really do. Don't get mad at me, I'm just kind of enamored at the moment. Get back to me.

So just a lil update from the Big Sky state:
1. I will be in Seattle in six days. Count 'em bitches. For a total of three three days, then I'm flying to Austin on Monday, will be there until the 27th, then I'm driving back to Seattle, where I'm hanging out until the 12th, I believe. Then to Vegas for my Aunt Angela's wedding until the 16th, then back to Seattle, and then to Missoula. What are y'all gonna do with yourselves? Hopefully I'll actually see you.
2. I have to move again. Yay. My roomie, LeAnn, who you will all meet either this weekend or when I get back after Christmas, is moving to Seattle to live with her cousin, so I have to find someplace to live. It's actually a good thing because 1) I can get a dog, which is really good timing because I'm going to be SO bored next semester and 2) hopefully I can find something cheaper and save some money. Too bad it's already looking to be a bitch and making me mad.
3. I got new computers! I heart apple. They are super.
4. I am for sures graduating in May. I think. But I did pass senior seminar - with flying colors may I add - which was a concern for me in the graduating scheme of things. Finals this week, and poof! done, because honestly, next semester is really just not going to count for me. It's really just an extra semester for me to be on my parent's insurance.
5. It looks like I'm moving back to the greater Seattle area in the May - August time period. Maybe. This is all new and transitionary, but maybe going to happen. WHEN we get together, we can have a nice little chat about it. I need to hear about all of your plans, etc.
6. I feel VERY out of the loop over here! There was a stint there a month or so ago where I heard from Sonia and Jess for two seconds, but nothing after that. And as said, for two seconds. Come on, I want to know what's going on in your lives!! I feel so sad. Every one is doing something I know, it's not like nothing goes on.

So my graduation papers are due this week. Those wonderful things where you count all your credits and make sure that I didn't take too many in this perspective, and too little of this, and enough of that. Too much math. And if it's wrong - you get to do it again! And I'm also on an intensive internship search for spring/summer. And on top of that, I have a cold. I hate real life.
On a lighter note, my traveling weekends have arrived! I was home this last one, but I go to Austin this Friday, Vegas next Thursday, eastern MT the weekend after that, Halloween is the weekend after THAT, and then SEATTLE!!!! What are you gonna do? Oh wait, FREAK OUT! Haha. Can't wait to see you all... it's been too long. Like six months. How about that. I haven't been there since June when my parents moved. Look out Scott's hardwood floor, here I come... and Ashley, and LeAnn. We're ready to wreak some havoc!

Cue the corny music... The school year has officially began because I have just gotten home from my first night as Kaimin Design Editor. Woohoo, it is 4 am. And I'll be there all week people! The joy of only having one other designer. My bro said he'd help, so I think I'll have him come in tomorrow and train a bit. Once we have some more people, we can break up nights. And I can get a life. I'll be just about to shoot myself/my friends will want to shoot me come Friday. Then it all starts over again. Joy for a 16 pager the first night in.
School was cool though.

So tonight is my last night in Austin. I am kind of sad that I didn't get to go out and experience all that the nightlife had to offer, but I don't feel like I was here a whole two weeks, it's very odd. I definitely want to come back to do that, but I'll need a partner in crime. On another note, I discovered shopping heaven on earth - outlet shopping in San Marcos. Seriously, it had every store you could EVER think of. Except express. But it had Limited, Guess, Coach, Dooney & Bourke, Armani Express, Puma, Nike, etc etc etc. It was seriously a mile long. You could never ever do it in one day. It was AMAZING.
Secondly, I had the saddest dream ever the other night. I've been dreaming a lot lately. Or just remembering it. Maybe it's a Texas thing, but oh well, anyway. I dreamt that Sonia, Jess, Marta, Meghan, and I all were on a bus road trip for some team thing to Pocatello, Idaho (we all went to the same college - I don't know) and we stopped at a Starbuck's, but it looked like a Mackenzie River (pizza place in MoTown). When we got there, Megs, Sons, and Jess all sat at a table and I went to get a drink and couldn't decide what I wanted, so I asked for your guys' opinions. Then, Meghan had a Starbucks apron on, cuz she worked there, and I was really confused. Then, Jess got mad at me cuz I didn't want to order a tall nonfat latte with two splenda, and sonia wanted me to get a lemonade, and Meghan was all, "you should get this, and you should listen to me cuz I work here" and all of you got REALLY angry that I didn't want what you wanted, and replaced me with Meghan forever. I wasn't allowed to sit down at the table and wasn't allowed back on the bus, because I wouldn't order a lemonade or a nonfat latte with two splenda.
What the fuck?

Good ole Juanita High. How I loathe thee. Just kidding. I don't loathe it, just slightly detest. It was actually kind of fun to see some people. Saw Ryan and Sara F and Jonny Weinstein. TJ Eby, which was random, and Mr. Kischner who is now a assistant principal at a K-8 school in Seattle. Good ole Deligan and Reinke... um, Brames and Josh Frei. Talked to Tiffany Thompson and saw the baby, who is absolutely adorable, by the way. I guess Jenny Green is pregnant, but I didn't see her. A lot of people I chose not to talk to, and couldn't remember their names. Who else? I don't know. Wasn't too bad. Now Ryan and I are gonna go play some pool, cuz we're cool. Haha. On another note, I have not updated in ages due to a lack of internet, so I decided that during my mini visit to Barnes and Noble before class this morning, I would do just that. It's attempting to be nice out today, after a crazy ass storm yesterday. Woohoo. I need some nice weather so I can stop being grumpy then happy. I might have an apartment, I'm signing my SOI - pretty much my letter of intent, why it's not an LOI I don't know - today and putting down my deposit, and then going and seeing it on Tuesday. If I like it, it's mine, then I move in the week of June 20th. Good timing, since that's the week my bro is here for orientation. Good location - corner of Higgins and 4th, so walking distance to downtown, walking distance to school, and right on the river. Yay! I'm gonna make myself like it. It has bay windows dammit! And I'm living by myself now. Other than that, school is okay. Kinda tiring, lots of reading. Our first test is tomorrow. Um, Matty called me last night. THAT was random. I haven't seen him since school. We had a nice little chat, then he told me to come over. I said no, he said he figured, we laughed, end of story. We'll see each other during bball camps. That's what I told him anyway. Good times. Oooooh I get to work bball camps! I don't have to get a job! Haha. Yay! What else... I'm sure there's others, but I'm not sure. But, I will be back June 14th, so be ready... lol. Oh, and all of you have plans on June 18th. All day. Pool playing and hot tubbing and bbqing. Last hurrah at the Bentz house. All food paid. That was a great birthday weekend. :)
My brother's prophesied birthday card was true... puked for the first time. After 15 shots. I think we counted 15. Maybe more - that's how many Ashley saw, I wasn't really counting, just taking. I don't know. A lot between 11:45 and 2. Funny thing is, I didn't really feel drunk and then we were up at Damon's and I was sitting on the couch, and suddenly I wasn't feeling too good. Bam. But we ran into a lot of people that I haven't seen in a while, which was fun. Amish bought me a couple of doubles. Gabe called me. Random, but fun. My friend David was in town with his girlfriend, which was also fun and random. Got a birthday kiss from my tall North Carolina boy (before the couch induced sickness) :). He's so cute. Was carried like a sack of potatoes to the car. That was Friday night. Thursday night was ALSO a good time. We ended up going out. Ladies night at the Elbow Room. Ran into more people I haven't seen in a while, and some kid that helped me at Foot Locker and thought JC was my boyfriend. More shots. LeRoy and I danced the night away. Apparently I was very amusing because I looked like I was in heaven. Haha. Works for me! It was fun. Too bad last night LeAnn and I passed out on the couch. We were planning on "taking a nap" at 9:30 and ended up just sleeping until today. Well, she did. I just napped, watched part of a movie and went to bed. No energy. I couldn't do 4 nights in a row. Not enough stamina. Haha.
Today's plan: BBQ. Woo. I love this.
And my parents bought me a trip to Vegas for my birthday!!!! WATCH OUT! I think Ash and I are gonna go down for her birthday in July - anyone game? Start saving... it's gonna be a party.
